Meeting to CMC with agents of mobile phone companies

A number of heads of the CMC met in the morning of Sunday & Monday 7/8.2.2010, with the presence of a representative of the National Security Ministry, with a group of agents of the mobile phone companies which working in Iraq, as they discussed during it the regulations that must be adopted in documentation the participant's information , and mobile phones users, In addition to the mechanics that occurred during it the signing of the subscription contract with the phone company, and participant’s addresses and their formal papers, which facilitate the process of inference to the participant in case any violations may occurred, or abuse that may serve terrorism and violence cases, or even those which form a social harm to the citizens. And the commission held several meeting about the same subject with representatives of major companies. An agreement had happened about putting set of rules as the sale and promotion of contributions slices( SIM card ). Mentioned here that the agents present who representing Zain , Corek and Asia’s companies.
In the second day of the meeting, the ministry of national security cooperate with the commission produced a set of obligate conditions to mobile slices' sale agencies , which including, the commitment not to sell phone slice for any person under legal age, and the commitment not to sell without access the formal documents, and the necessity of taking the left fingerprint of the person who use the slice.
At the end of the meeting , the presence appreciate all the efforts which facilitate the companies work and helping the commission to do it's work.
