the Chief of the CMC for (Voices of Iraq): the mass media have to deal professionally in the propaganda campaign of the elections

Dr. Burhan Shawi the CEO of the CMC to the agency (Voices of Iraq) on Saturday, 27/2/2010, that the commission is monitoring the media and advertising campaign by the mass media on elections, and will take legal measures which will be taken against violators, pointing to the announcement soon about the position of the commission from that, and alert the mass media to deal professionally with regard to the propaganda of elections.

Dr. Shawi also warned that the commission will be forced to take legal measures against the entities that incite in public form or you political fall, and the promotion of statistics and lying numbers, which is considered contrary to the directives of the Commission.

And he pointed out that there was joint coordination between the Commission and the High Independence Legation of Elections about dealing professionally by the media, according to what stated in the dependent Charters of the commission.
