A meeting between the CMC with the mobile phone companies and the ministry of communications

Held at the headquarter of the CMC on the morning of Thursday 11.3.2010 a meeting includes Dr. Burhan Shawi the CEO of the commission and Dr. Safa'a al-Din Rabie'e the chief of the Trustees Council and a member of the Council Dr. Sirkawt Namiq and representatives of the mobile phone companies (Zain, Asia cell, Korek) happened during it the search of the importance of the cooperation of communication's ministry with the mentioned companies to signing the necessary contract of the national penetration portals.

And Dr. Burhan Shawi the CEO of the commission confirmed during the meeting the necessity of getting to the imminent agreement between the aforesaid entities in attention on the properties of the Iraqi state to ensure their interest and the citizen's interest from the included of the companies' cervices. While Dr. Safa'a Al-Din Rabie'e demanded the necessity of accomplishing these contracts in the suitable time pointing at the monitoring role of the commission on it.
And at the end of the meeting the agreement has been terminated that the technician and legal representatives from the ministry of the communications and the companies to hold meetings from the next week and with the presence of the representatives of the commission to preparing the final formula of these contracts.
