
The Department of Managing and organizing spectrum in CMC held on morning of Tuesday, 4/5/2010 a meeting at the Commission’s headquarters with technical / administrative delegation of Zain Company.
The two parties discussed the most important problems related to the weakness of the network in some areas, and could not be contacted, and participants complained of the large number of messages sent by the company, in addition to the subject matter of deductions balance.
The Commission listened to the problems that the Company faced it in order to it overcome to provide better service to the consumer, and the meeting take the issue of overlapping of coverage of the mobile phone companies between Iraq and neighboring countries.
From its side, Zain Company asked to expand its network to the northern region, to be able to secure coverage for the general areas of Iraq.
The Commission demand Zain Company to provide clear and accurate reports continuously and detailed information about its inquiries, and complement the rest of the information which related to the terms of the license.
