A meeting between CMC and UNESCO organization

The CMC held on Tuesday 4.5.2010 a meeting with the representative of the UNESCO organization in Iraq, and the meeting included his Excellency the Director General of the Chief Executive Officer Dr. Burhan Shawi and the Coordinator of the UNESCO organization George Papayance.
And the audience discussed the mechanism of the work and the development of the Commission, as the representative of the UNESCO organization pointed out that they are ready to produce all the support to the Commission to help it on developing its work to achieve its desired aims, which represented in organizing the Media and Communications sectors in Iraq according to the international standards which suited with nature of the social and political environment to the new Iraq, as the two parties agreed on making workshops and symposiums as the first step on developing the capabilities of the management of the Commission and its staff, and suggestion had been performed on choosing Arbil City as a site to establishing these workshops and symposiums.
