Asiacell Company clarified the method of calculating the prices of its new services

Pursuant to the decision issued by CMC and it’s oblige in it the mobile phone companies which operating in Iraq, in adoption of the pricing of the scratch cards with Dinar instead of the Dollar, and calculating the cost of the phone calls with seconds instead of minutes, Asiacell Company explained in the letter num. (578 in 25.4.2010) which forward to the Commission a table of the adopted prices according to the service that it will provide it to the participants in its lines, the letter included the prices before and after the date 1.4.2010, as the Company’s prices still depend on the method of pricing with minutes before the mentioned date and with seconds after it, to avoid create a case of instability in the market as in the case in some companies according to its point of view, knowing that it left the chose to all the minutes lines of free transfer to the seconds system.
in the same side Asia Cell Company clarified that it adopted the rate of exchange (1,200)  of Dollar on the Iraqi Dinar to the recharge card, and it stated that it’s higher than the exchange price which adopted at the Iraqi Central Bank which costs (1,185) as a service to the Iraqi Citizen, as the granted balance is higher than the deserved until we reduce transfer impact on the participant to the dinar and seconds together, hoping the knowledge that the exchange rate for the rest of the services, i.e., minutes, and exchange... And others are (1,185) IQD to the dollar.
